Self-sufficient Training

1. Introduction of Self-sufficient Training Credit Recognition Program

The contents of a regular course at a four-year university abroad and a language course at an affiliated language education institution shall be recognized as credits for overseas language training. (Two-year university or private language school not accepted)

2. Qualification for application

- Student enrolled in our university ( Excepting graduate student)
- Student who does not receive credit recognition for the same course by other international exchange programs
- Student who is scheduled to take regular/language courses at a four-year university in a foreign country for at least four weeks / 60 hours

4. Credit recognition method

Submit application from after confirmation of training plan by oneself -> Depart & Take classes -> Return -> After return, Submit Application for short-term training credit recognition & Completion Certificate/Transcript -> Recognition of ‘overseas language training’ (2 credit, general electives/p) in the seasonal semester immediately after submission

5. Credit Recognition Standard

- The recognition of credits for training total no more than four credits for twice (2 credits for once).
- The Training period shall be at least 60 Hours/4 weeks.
- Training credits shall be the credits of the seasonal semester immediately after the application for the recognition of short-term training credits is submitted.
(However, if you apply for a course in the relevant season semester, you can apply only for within four credits, excluding two, which are training credits.)
- Training credits are included in the calculation of graduation credits, and grades do not apply to total average calculations.
